Windows 7 is my new enemy.
Bought some new PC components. Windows 7 wouldn't install.
Took the a hard drive and Windows 7 over to friend who had almost identical motherboard... Installed Windows 7... yay!
after a very busy day at work I come home and try to install graphics drivers on a now working PC... Windows does not want to log in any more... not yay ;____;

Roll back the drivers :(

So I decided to scribble some colours in one of the few bits of working software before sleep.

Some doodley stuff. Playing with inks. I have lots of bottles of lovely colours on my desk. Although I should move them out of the light... and so that I can move my mouse.

For most people digital colouring is probably faster... not me... still working away at this piece.
Hopefully I'll remember to pick up the new ink tomorrow and bring it home

It's so nice to be working with traditional media again. Makes a break from being on the computer all day.
Odd incident/coincidence - I left a maths book round a friend's house (yes I do read math books... Mathematics for Computer Graphics in fact). When my friend saw it he told me he'd recently ordered the same book (he's a programmer) . Maths geek out!

This is the first time I have properly used Paint Chat. My friend invited me. So I quickly doodle something. I am bad at drawing freehand on PC

Got most of the flats done, even if they're not the correct colour. Doing a bit of shading now. Digital is not that easy. Maybe I'll go back to traditional after this ^^;

Here is something that's definitely going to be finished completely. The pencils and inking took quite a while, I was determined to not rush into colouring it but work into the line work so that I don't get bored and skip details.
I've already noticed mistakes :S Well they shall be fixed as I go along.

A quick sketchy thing. Not sure whether to digitally colour, or do entirely in traditional media :S

It's raining a lot and it's cold. The nights are growing longer and soggy leaves line the pavements.
It's definitely Autumn in the UK.
I rather enjoy it. Apart from having caught a cold. I want to curl up in bed again.
Here's some more playing with digital colouring.

Another doodly skecth attempt at using a graphics tablet. The variety to the order you can lay down colour is a lot vaster than I'm used to when I've been working on paper, so I've just been trying out a few things

Added some colours to a previous sketch. Not quite finished, but not quite sure where to go with it

I did a bit of an edit to that digital painting I started a few weeks ago. No hugely impressive edit as of yet, just filling in some of the space and colours.

More update in the drawn out process of creating this piece. Hopefully it's at least a little interesting watching it build up.

Back dated something I coloured in during some free moments at work last week. Thinking of getting a new tablet for home use now. Can probably wait a bit longer tho
