30th November '10
I saw the Coca Cola Truck down Oxford Street, and went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and tomorrow is the first day of December. And it snowed!
It is freezing though and hopefully British people will stop being startled by snow and unable to make trains run properly... well hopefully at least when I want to use them :)

1 month until Christmas!
I am going to be super excited about the holiday season, and then probably complain about the cold and weather afterwards, so enjoy my cheerful spirit.
I think there's some definite anxiety towards my latest traditional piece, so I've been taking a break from it in the hopes of not completely destroying it :)
So here's some digital paintover rubbish that I did from an old traditional piece.
One day I'll learn to paint properly, but until then it's odd plasticy colours.
Think I'll try some more sketching this weekend

I had that type of art block this evening where you know what you want to draw, but you can't put it down on paper. Also I think I'm scared of inking my current large piece in case I suddenly realise I need to change something as soon as the ink hits the paper (usually the way). But I guess I'll have to take the plunge sooner or later.
I'm thinking of maybe learning to paint... or relearning, or trying to learn more. I'm not sure though. New things are scary. but good scary.
I did spend this evening scribbling in a new sketchbook (since I managed to tip water on my last one and warp all the pages I'm smart me :))
So anyways, here's something I started a while back and haven't gotten round to completing yet... just something to play with watercolours/waterbased inks more.

Going to be trying some more neutral colours on this.
Already noticed something I want to change though, right after I inked it ;___; At times like this I wonder if I should learn how to paint instead

Large scale scribbles. It's A2 size which is why it looks rather bad right now as I scanned it in pieces and ont at great quality.

Finished. Had some problems with the inks either soaking unevenly into the paper or sitting on top of each other instead of blending. but in the end it's turned out ok :)
